Light shining in the darkness

GOSPEL OF JOHN 1:5

In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

He was, in the beginning, with God: everything was done through him and without him nothing was made that exists.

There was life in him and life was the light of men; the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not win it.
